Memorial
Architect: Dick Clark + Associates
A new ground-up residence in Houston's Memorial area with access to the bayou, shaped by site constraints and climate response.
The home is organized around a central courtyard, allowing primary living spaces to open outward while maintaining privacy from the street. A layered engineered composite facade and screening, as well as cantilevered glass volume balances exposure and control.
The design prioritizes:
- Filtered light over exposure
- Shaded outdoor living over decorative space
- Long-term livability over short-term impact
Currently in pre-construction, with early coordination focused on envelope strategy, glazing performance, and cost alignment.
